Following a poor performance by the Atlanta Falcons’ offensive line, they bounced back in a huge way by absolutely handling the Chicago Bears’ defensive line in week 11, and it shows in their Pro Football Focus grades.
There were many worries going into the week with them but they proved why they can be special and hopefully, they can continue the momentum going into week 12 when they play a ferocious Washington Commanders defensive line.
Atlanta Falcons OL accounts for 4/10 highest-graded Pro Football Focus linemen
The Atlanta Falcons’ offensive line just turned in an absolutely dominant performance against the Chicago Bears when they needed it most. They had just come off a game where their quarterback struggled and they couldn’t get a consistent running game going. They had to have it this week and they came through, albeit, against a bad Bears line, but they are still NFL-caliber players.
Pro Football Focus gave four Atlanta Falcons offensive linemen grades that rank in the top ten in the NFL for week 11 (excluding the grades for the Monday Night Football game between the Cardinals and 49ers).

Here are the grades for the Falcons’ five offensive linemen and where it ranks compared to every other offensive lineman from week 11:
- Chris Lindstrom – 95.5 overall (1st)
- Drew Dalman – 86.4 overall (4th)
- Kaleb McGary – 82.9 overall (T7th)
- Jake Matthews – 82.9 overall (T7th)
- Chuma Edoga – 77.8 overall (18th)
That is simply insane, even Chuma Edoga who was playing his first snaps at guard, had a great game. A 77.8 grade is something you would take every week from your blockers.
161 offensive linemen played at least one snap (again, excluding the Monday Night Football game) in week 11, the Falcons accounted for five of them and were responsible for 25% of the players graded in the top 20, and 40% in the top ten.
This needs to continue because they are going to be playing one of the toughest defensive lines on Sunday on the road. The Commanders have put together a dominant group that will be the Atlanta Falcons’ toughest challenge yet. If they can put up similar grades then they are for real.
